The Marble Sanctum was created thousands of years ago by a powerful sect of necromantic arch-mages. Using a magical artifact called the Tao Engine; they pressurized and heated the limestone in place to create a massive marbleized network of rooms and passages. It was a fortress and center of magical research for the faction’s leading arch lich-mage.
It would also become his eternal tomb in the last battle of the Azi-Schism in which knights of the opposing faction succeeded in sacking the Sanctum and imprisoning the lich-mage within. As the centuries passed and the jungle engulfed the fortress, it was forgotten along with its sole remaining inhabitant. In time his necromantic energy spread throughout the island, infesting the Sanctum and the island itself with various types of undead.
Eventually the march of time would reopen the fortress to be explored once more.
Much of the fortress has since collapsed into a massive sinkhole that formed beneath the Sanctum. Having weakened over time, the magic seals placed on its main door entrance have also given way. No one before could rid the island of its evil presence or find the secret and powerful treasures located deep within the Sanctum; until now.

Testimonials:
I was not disappointed! What I was looking forward to the most, however, was the in-game history behind the Marble Sanctum, and after opening the download and devouring the ‘Information.PDF’, I was most pleased indeed! |

Behind the maps
I’ve created my products because they make my work easier as a Game Master, and game sessions are more enjoyable with them. I’ve forged all of my experience and knowledge I collected as Game Master and 3D artist in the past years into these tiles and I hope you will enjoy them at least as much as I enjoyed working on them. If you still have questions, please read the FAQ below or write to me in the comment section, I will try to reply you as soon as I can.
