3D printable Trolls that you can print out at home and use as a cheaper, but still visually pleasing, alternative on your tabletop.
These trolls live under our bridge set in the pictures, you can find it here, click now:
The area seems abandoned, and this bridge collapsed years ago.
Yet something seems to be lurking in the mud.
A troll, a troll under the bridge!
If we are careful, we might not wake him up…
This model was designed and tested by the two artists of Black Scrolls Games. You can print out these models on your own 3D printer or you can take them to a local library or a shop that offer this kind of service.
You can resize the files if you want smaller (or larger) sized miniatures in your game, these files are good to30-35mm miniatures without changes. The finished model with the base and wings will be 10 cm high. Reduce the size by 10% to get a more accurate sized model (it will be harder to print on FDM printers). Use supports to the body and wings parts, rotate the parts to find the perfect position you desire for printing.
Technical information:
We printed these trolls at 100% scale on an Ender 3 pro machine.
Scale them down with 20%-15% if you would like to print them for standard 28mm miniatures. The standing troll can touch our modular bridge and the sleeping troll can fit under the bridge at this scale. See pictures among folders.
You do need slicer support to print the files!
Turn on Tree support in Cura for the best result and turn on Brim in the build plate adhesion settings.
These files are for personal use only, making any changes to the files, selling them or the printed result is possible only with the written permission of the publisher.
